I was saved at age 11 through the verse, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time, Christ died for the ungodly.” Romans 5:6.  I had heard the message of the gospel from my earliest recollection, but one night on the way home from a gospel meeting in the dark while looking up at the stars, I realized that God had every right to put me in hell and not allow me into heaven because of my sin.  A few days later as I was reading Romans 5:6, I realized that I was unable to get to heaven with my own strength and abilities, but Christ died on the cross to pay for all my sins so I wouldn’t have to go to hell.  I trusted Him, and now have peace, no fear of death or the future.  He is my peace.

I have lived in Ohio since I married my beloved and hard-working husband Ron in 1991, and God has blessed us with 2 beautiful daughters, Rachelle (17) and Marissa (13).  I taught Sunday School for 3 ½ years and now assist in Sunday school outreach by substituting and having an active role in special events involving Sunday school and Youth Bible Hour.  I home school our girls and am actively teaching 2 classes in a local home school group.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Then you will call upon Me and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”  Jeremiah 29:11-13  These verses have spoken to my heart throughout my life and remind me to continually seek the Lord and His will, and then my future and hope will rest in His hands.

Michelle Snippe

I’m Michelle…a child of God, the wife of a preacher and a homeschooling mom of three. I love my Lord and my family; all of whom I strive to be as devoted to as I can be.  Because the gospel has reached my own soul, changing my life and eternal destiny, a passion within me has been ignited to see other lives saved and transformed as well – the gospel has the power to do that!  Alongside of my husband of nearly 21 years, and together with God, we have worked in sharing the gospel with others, seeing souls reached for Christ, teaching new believers, and encouraging them to live their lives for the sole purpose of glorifying God (Phil. 1:8-11). Other teaching opportunities I’ve been given over the past 19 years have come in a variety of ways and settings:  Sunday school classes, women’s Bible studies, and one-on-one time with other women.  These encounters have touched and challenged my own heart and life in so many ways!

In addition to reaching and teaching those outside of our home, for nearly 17 years we have been on a journey to home-educate our three children; Megan (19), Owen (17) and Brandon (13). I love the adventure that’s been…and still is!  Since so much of our family’s lives are spent together, our children are a part of our outreach as well.  It’s so exciting – and humbling – to see sparks being lit within their own hearts towards serving others and sharing Christ.  I am thankful for, yet unworthy of, the blessed life the Lord has given me and for any and all opportunities He has provided for sharing Him and His Word with others.  My prayer continues to be that I might always be, as Paul told Timothy, “…ready in season and out of season…” to share the gospel and to be a good steward of the ministry He has given me.

Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.
Psalm 86:11
